Bathroom remodel went better than I expected. Rich was prompt; came in under budget. Extremely talented with bathroom remodeling. I could not have asked for better service and since the bathroom remodel he has done a number of complicated jobs like a new attached custom cedar pergola room which is the envy of the neighborhood. You will not go wrong with your bathroom or any other job you contract with Walter and Sons.
I decided on Thursday that I needed a pergola to shield my porch from the afternoon sun. I called Walter and Sons after perusing “general contractors” on Google. Richard came on Friday to look at the area. By late that afternoon I received a reasonable bid. The cedar lumber was dropped off on Monday. Tuesday they built my pergola with solar fabric screens. They were very thorough and professional. I’m thrilled that I now have a shady porch that is built to last. I’ll be hiring them again when my porch needs to be replaced.
I have been a repeat customer! Rich, the owner, has personally overseen the multiple projects that I’ve hired Walter & Sons for. The team is professional, personable, and when Rich has been doing the work, he’s also taking the time to teach me how to do some of the work because I’ve been curious to learn. This is a great company and I highly recommend; I wish I could give more than five stars.
Walter & Sons remodeled our bathroom and did a wonderful job! We had a small walk-in glass shower and large garden tub and wanted a larger shower area and no tub. Rich helped us refine our ideas and went to work. First, they laid down construction paper so as not to leave marks on our floor as they went in and out. They also covered furniture with plastic sheeting to prevent dust. They cleaned up each day before leaving, and I watched them work. Rich was very careful in measuring and all workmanship was topnotch. His estimate was reasonable and we picked out and had the wall and floor tile delivered, along with shower fixture, two ceiling fans with lights, and grab bars. Now we are waiting for a glass company to install a piece of glass on the pony wall he built. Very easy to work with and hard workers.
Awesome work these guys do. Thank you so much for the accent wall! I wasn’t decisive on what I wanted to do but Dean and Rich were able to put together a creative design and point me in the right direction for my very anticipated wacky project. I highly recommend Walter and Sons and will be using them in the near future.

I had a new master bath remodel by an incompetent/crooked contractor. The new shower he put in wasn’t done correctly. He and his people either didn’t know what they were doing or didn’t care or both so the lousy job he did allowed water to find its way out of my shower. I had Rich from Walter and Sons come out and take a look and give me an estimate. I was impressed by how he looked the job over and explained it to me. By chance, my sister had some work on her bathroom and when I called to ask who she had hired and if she liked the work, it turned out to be Walter and Sons. I hired Rich and he gave me a fair price, did the work in a timely manner, and made it look good. I hired him to do some other jobs and was pleased with all the work and so was my wife. My sister also had them come back for other jobs. I strongly recommend Walter and Sons and plan on using them for other home projects I have coming up.

Walter and Sons did a great job on my kitchen remodel. Showed up every day to work on my kitchen; they did removal of old cabinets and soffit, replaced plumbing, took off popcorn ceiling. Then kitchen remake: kitchen ceiling textured and painted, walls painted, new cabinets all installed perfectly. Even installed tile mural and some kitchen floor tiles. Super satisfied with kitchen remodel and ease of working with Rich and Jesse. I will call them again and I recommend Walter and Sons.
We had a study converted into a bedroom and our dining room converted into 2 spaces: a butler’s pantry and a small office. Project only took 2 weeks, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Rich had no problem understanding our vision for the space and also made some suggestions for the existing arches on walls that we were closing up so that part of the arches remained on the insides of the new rooms which turned out to be cool features in these rooms. He also incorporated a pocket door between the pantry and office which also makes the new spaces even better. I’m very happy with the results and would recommend Walter and Sons for any home remodel project without hesitation.
Rich and Dean were amazing! They did our flooring and kitchen cabinets. Everything looks phenomenal! We are winter Texans and are in construction up north. They were fast, very precise, and hard workers. We have a few more projects and will not have anyone other than Walter and Sons in to do them. Thank you very much, Rich and Dean.
Walter and Sons did a beautiful job on my stairs. This was a very complicated job, and I was so impressed with how the job was handled from start to the final product. Rich the owner put a lot of thought into the project and even had to be creative with the materials I had. Very professional and upfront communication. A few weeks ago, I had the privilege of hiring Walter and Sons to do a remodel on our shower in our spare bathroom. I’m here to tell you I’m so happy I found these guys; they did a great job cleaning up after themselves every night before they went home. They put everything back the way it was before they started. They caulked; they sealed the floor. Just an all-around awesome job, will definitely be looking to hire them in the future again.
I am very pleased to have hired Walter and Sons to do our entire townhome remodel. We remodeled flooring, all fixtures, and gutted the kitchen and bathrooms for a brand-new look, among many other things. They worked hard every day for 6 weeks and always communicated where we stood in the process. Rich and his team (including Dean and Jesse) were pleasant and respectful throughout the process, even when I got picky about small things or changed plans and ideas in the middle of the work. We hired Walter and Sons for our kitchen remodel/update. They removed our old counters, backsplash, and appliances. They also tore out some cabinets we did not want to open our room up more.
